Took in your blog just now...you have some good pictures and I was amazed as I saw how much you look like your Dad ...it's the beard !
Hope you continue to learn and adjust as you look forward to Christmas.You sound like you have a lot of determination to make friends and enjoy all the new experiences. It's undoubtedly all so overwhelming. I remember when I taught in La Brett and found myself eating, thinking, breathing,and sleeping teaching. And you have a brand new culture to boot...Our family in Yellowknife are northerners to the core after 15 years there..so be careful!! You may find the culture grows on you.Glad to hear you found some Yellowknife prices for food items.. Our sister-in-law has been telling us how crazy the prices can be. It's fortunate that you love being active outside.,,so much interaction takes place that way..you mention blizzard and I cringe for you. Just take your Vit. D...(: Anyway..take care...say "hi" to your Mom at Christmas for us.Enjoying your letters and pictures.
